Touring and Jewish Text Study – Join Anat Harrel and Rabbi Amy Levin and trace the journey taken by the Sanhedrin, the Great Rabbinical Council, in its wanderings through the Galilee from the 2nd to the 5th centuries. Visit Usha to see the incredible archaeological finds and learn about the revival of the Jewish people after the destruction of the Second Temple and the Bar Kochva rebellion. Travel to Shfar’am to visit the old synagogue, and then to Bet Shearim, where you’ll learn about Rabbi Yehuda HaNasi and his mission to compile and write down the Oral Law. Then its on to Zippori, where the Mishna was finally signed. Tour the sites with Anat and study Jewish texts with Rabbi Levin. A perfect combination!
